The KCS Walls

Hollow wall system

KCS hollow walls are made of antistatic Sendzimir galvanized steel plate with polyester cleanroom coating. The standard wall thickness is 60 mm or 100 mm, but can be increased to any size to accomodate ductwork or other services to be included in the wall.

Walls as air duct system

The KCS hollow wall can be used as air-return system. The special air-return wall panels are connected to the air conditioning system. The exhaust capacity is dependent on the thickness of the wall, which is variable due to the flexible component system. (Standard 100 mm system 750m3/h)

Pipes/electrical inside walls

Pipes and electrical devices can all be installed inside the hollow walls with their connections fixed on the cleanroom wall. Maintenance on piping etc. can be done without disturbing the cleanroom environment. The walls can be dismantled at one side and leaving the other one closed.

Removing panels and give other function (door or window) is all easy to arrange. The universal concept makes the system flexible to new applications.

Sandwich walls

KCS has various types of sandwich panels with different core materials and dimensions.

Type A: coated steel both sides with fire protected Rockwood filling, thickness: 60 mm / 100 mm

Type B: coated steel both sides with honeycomb filling, thickness: 50 mm / 60 mm

Type C: coated steel both sides with hardcore filling, thickness: 15 mm

The coated steel consists of antistatic Sendzimir galvanized and polyester coated steel plate. Dimensions of panels are max width 1200 mm and max height in one piece of 4500 mm. Walls can be piled up to 20 meter high. Connections between panels may differ depended on specific requirements (gridless, profiles, demountable).

Combination of walls

The sandwich panels can be used in combination with the hollow wall panels. The special connections make a mixed usage of these different panels invisible from the outside.

Floor and building variations absorbed

Variations in the floor are absorbed by the set of floor profiles. Variations in the civil structure are absorbed by the adjustable ceiling hangers. This neutralisation of external variations results in a complete straight structure of the KCS Cleanrooms. This is important for the proper inclusion of process equipment and cabinets.
